Q. How does one quantify the qualitative?
A. THIS IS NOT NECESSARY FOR WHAT WE ARE DOING.
Q. To what degree is the value of a “contribution” directly related to the (real and perceived) need(s) of those receiving benefit?
A. WE CAN ASK: DOES THE CONTRIBUTION IMPROVE THE SITUATION?
Q. Is there such a thing as giving without receiving?
If one contributes much and is also greatly compensated as a result, does that diminish the value to the beneficiary to any degree?
A. Does it not count?
Q. How would one ever possibly derive a universally accepted ratio of contribution (to “others”?): benefits to self (or other derivatives of self)?
A. THERE IS NO NEED TO DO THIS.
Q. What about the implicit problem of the fact that virtually any specific action may be seen as a “contribution” by some, and a liability by others?
A. WE ARE BASING THE VALUE OF THE CONTRIBUTION ON THE 17 UN SUSTAIANBLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS.
YOU CAN SEE THE 17 UN SDGs BELOW.
